The cold roll forming methods of the color steel roof sheet can be classified into four types.


First, the middle and the outside method


This method first roll form the center waves, and then roll form the wave shape outside the molding in order. Or you can finish the suppression of the external contour first, then finish the middle waveform sequentially. The advantage is that the accuracy of waveform and dimension is high, and the deformation stress of finished products is small, which is conducive to the design of roll pass. The drawback is that the number of rollers is large, the size and weight of the equipment are large.


Two, simultaneous forming method


Multiple waveforms are pressed at the same time or multiple waveforms are divided into several sections. The advantage is that the amount of roller needed is small, the size of the equipment is small, the weight is light, and the transportation is convenient. The disadvantage is that the stress concentration after pressing leads to large deformation stress and is difficult to design the roll shape.


Three. Joint forming method


In the process of partial wave forming, another part of the waveform is beginning to be pressed. The roller number of this method is less than that of sequential forming method, which is much more than that of the simultaneous forming method. The forming stress of the method is between two kinds, and the roll shape design is also very complicated.


Four, ripple preprocessing method


This method is to press the flat plate into corrugated plates, and then press the required section shape according to the needs of customers. The advantage of this method is that the deformation stress of the part is small, the pressure of each roll is smaller, the extension stress is small, and the shape and size of the plate are more accurate. The drawback is that the number of rolls required is much more than that of the simultaneous forming method, and the design calculation is also more complex, and it is not suitable for pressing deep plate.
